Tsavo National Park is one of the oldest and largest parks in Kenya.It is divided into Tsavo East and Tsavo West National parks.

TSAVO EAST is situated in a semi-arid area previously known as Taru Desert and is located near voi town in Taita Taveta county in the coast of kenya.The park is considered as one of the worlds biodiversity strongholds and its popularity is mostly due to the vast amounts of diverse wildlife that can be seen including the famous 'big five' consisting of the Black Rhinos, Cape Buffaloes, Elephants,and the famous man Eater lions of Tsavo. The park is also home to a great variety of bird life such as the Black Kite, Crowned Crane, love bird and Sacred Ibis.The park is Generally flat,with dry plains across which River Galana flows.
